Pratishtha (“Pratishtha”, “we”, “us”) is a marketing service for practitioners such as astrologers, healers, counsellors, coaches, consultants and teachers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the services we provide. By using this website or sharing your details with us, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, the type of practice you run, your city and any message you send through our free practice audit form, WhatsApp or email.
- Project information: if you become a client, the content, photos, testimonials, business details and account access you share so that we can build your website, manage your social media or run your ads.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our payment partners and banks. We do not store your card, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. We keep records of invoices and payment references for accounting and tax.
- Website usage data: your device type, browser, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools.
2. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare your free practice audit.
- To prepare proposals, deliver and manage the services you buy, and send invoices.
- To send service updates, monthly reports and, where you have agreed, information about our offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
- To improve our website and services, and to keep them secure.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Consent
We process your personal information with your consent, which you give when you submit a form or contact us, and where needed to deliver a service you asked for or to meet the law. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect work already done, but we may then be unable to continue some services.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need, for example website hosting, email and WhatsApp messaging tools, analytics tools, advertising platforms such as Meta and Google (when you buy ads management), payment processors and accounting support. We may also disclose information when the law or a government authority requires it.
5. Cookies
This website uses cookies to make pages work properly, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
6. Client accounts and content
When you give us access to your website, social media pages, Google Business Profile or ad accounts, we use that access only to do the work you have asked for. Your accounts, domain and content remain yours. We will ask you to remove our access when the work ends.
7. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to follow up with you, and client records for as long as the service continues and for the period required by tax and accounting law. After that, we delete or anonymise the information.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and secure tools. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Your rights
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to give you a summary of the personal information we hold about you, correct or update it, erase it, or withdraw your consent. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. To make a request, contact us using the details in section 12. We will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Children
Our services are meant for adults who run a practice or business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
